Developing the Closed-Loop Greywater Filtration Cluster

Engineering Updates

LOG_REF: #051

How our multi-stage biological sand and active carbon systems achieve full fluid recycling autonomy.

The Hydrological Freedom

Achieving true off-grid independence requires more than just solar panels; it requires total water sovereignty. Standard tiny homes rely on constant hookups to municipal water and sewer feeds, limiting their deployment locations. To overcome this limitation, our engineering team developed a self-contained, biological greywater recycling system.

The Multi-Stage Filtration Process

Our greywater cluster recycles wastewater from sinks, washing machines, and showers, transforming it into clean water for irrigation and flushing. The system uses a multi-stage physical and biological filtration process:

  • Stage 1 (Sediment Capture): Removes large physical particles and hair.

  • Stage 2 (Biological Sand Bed): Utilizes beneficial soil microbes to break down organic impurities.

  • Stage 3 (Active Carbon Interface): Eliminates micro-contaminants, soaps, and odors.

  • Stage 4 (UV Sterilization): Eradicates any remaining biological pathogens, providing safe water recycling.

By integrating this closed-loop filtration cluster directly into our chassis plumbing core, we reduce water consumption by up to $60\%$, allowing you to live comfortably in remote wilderness terrains without relying on city water networks.
